freedom1 Forum has been working continuously to promote RTI regime in Nepal. As part of this, it has sought information with various public bodies to make them transparent.
Lately, freedom1 Forum Chairman Taranath Dahal, on November 22, 2011sought information with the Legislature-Parliament Secretariat in line with the article 3 of the Right to Information Act 2007.
The Parliament Secretariat is sought to provide various information including the photocopies of the new bills tabled in the parliament for discussion except 14 which are under consideration; other bills distributed to the parliamentarians for the discussion in the parliament; photocopies of the bills discussed in the parliament and those sent to the legislation committee for discussion among others.
