Freedom Forum condemns the incident. Shockwave has run across the media fraternity in the region.

Freedom Forum Executive Chief Taranath Dahal observes, "Growing number of attack on media and murder of journalists in India, the neighbouring country of Nepal, is a serious trend. As a largest democracy in the world, the journalist's killing in a broad day light is deplorable act that mocks at free press."
