Journalists are killed, kidnapped, disappeared, jailed, attacked, and threatened globally. However, the impunity against these crimes is on the rise. In Nepal too, most of the cases of impunity for crimes against journalists are still awaiting justice and impunity continues unabated. Journalists’ safety is at stake.
In this context, Freedom Forum discussed “Journalists’ safety and Ending Impunity” gathering different stakeholders along with family members of the victim journalists on November 27, 2020. The main aim of the discussion was to express solidarity to the victim journalists for their justice.
