Freedom Forum has recently published- a Nepali booklet on human rights issues in relation to cyber security. It is a Nepali translation of an English document, ‘Developing National Cyber security Strategies which Respect, Protect and Promote Human Rights’, a policy paper prepared by the UK-based organization, Global Partners Digital. The booklet is clear and comprehensive to understand human rights issues on cyber space and legislation in various countries like Australia, Sweden, the UK, Denmark, Ireland, the USA, the UK. The references presented this publication helps in making the cyberspace safe, trustworthy, robust and resilient. It also encourages the country like us to make cyber related policy and strategies in line with the international standard. How freedom of expression and privacy should be protected while dealing with cyber security and cyber crimes are focused in this publication.
